Presentation:

The IV International Interdisciplinary Colloquium “SDGs and Institutional Innovation” (CIII4) proposes a bold and borderless conversation among knowledge fields to transform 21st-century universities. Centered on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a common horizon, the Colloquium convenes the global academic community to rethink its institutional role through innovation, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration. It is not just a meeting: it is an invitation to build, from difference, more just, sustainable, and high-performing university models.

Justification:

In the face of 21st-century global transformations, higher education must redefine its mission to remain relevant and impactful. The 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a guiding framework for this shift, calling on universities to move beyond fragmentation and engage with society through integrated, interdisciplinary, and socially committed approaches.

The IV International Interdisciplinary Colloquium is held to create a collaborative space where academia, research, and innovation converge across fields such as law, education, economics, environment, health, and technology. It aims to foster critical reflection and joint action toward advancing the SDGs, promoting a university model that is globally responsible, locally engaged, and transformative.
